These terms & conditions apply to all rides, bookings and services of Amsterdam Taxibus (Chamber of Commerce 51194945, VAT NL002406379B46). By placing a booking you agree to these terms.
1.Definitions
“Carrier”: Amsterdam Taxibus, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 51194945.
“Customer”: the natural or legal person who books or has a ride carried out.
“Ride”: the passenger transport from a specified pickup address to a specified destination (one-way, point to point).
2.Bookings and confirmation
Bookings can be made via the website form, email, phone or WhatsApp. A booking is a request and is only finalised once the carrier confirms it by email or phone.
The customer is responsible for providing the pickup address, destination, date, time, number of passengers and any special requirements (such as flight number, child seat or extra luggage) correctly and completely.
For airport rides we recommend providing your flight number so we can monitor delays.
3.Rates and payment
The price shown on the website is an indicative fixed price based on distance, including 9% VAT. The final price is set upon confirmation.
No prepayment is required. Payment is made in cash or directly to the driver, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Additional costs arising from waiting time, route changes requested by the customer, tolls or extra stops may be charged.
4.Cancellation and changes
Cancelling or changing a ride is free of charge up to 4 hours before the agreed pickup time. Please contact us as soon as possible by phone or WhatsApp.
For cancellations within 4 hours of the ride, or if the passenger does not appear at the agreed place and time (no-show), the carrier may charge (part of) the ride price.
5.Customer obligations
The passenger must be ready at the agreed time and place. The driver applies a reasonable waiting time; beyond this, waiting time may be charged.
Smoking, soiling the vehicle, or endangering the safety of the driver or fellow passengers is not permitted. Damage caused by intent or negligence may be recovered from the customer.
6.Luggage, children and pets
Please state the number of suitcases when booking so a suitable vehicle is assigned. The carrier is not liable for damage to improperly packed or fragile luggage.
Child seats and travelling with pets are possible on request; please mention this when booking.
7.Delays and force majeure
The carrier makes every effort to bring passengers to their destination on time, but is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, roadworks or other force majeure.
In the event of force majeure preventing a ride, a suitable solution or new ride will be offered in consultation.
8.Liability
The carrier's liability is limited to the amount paid out by the insurance in the relevant case, or at most to the ride price. The carrier is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, such as missed appointments or flights.
All vehicles are insured in accordance with the applicable legal requirements for passenger transport.
9.Complaints
Complaints about a ride can be reported within 14 days via info@amsterdamtaxibus.nl or +31 6 16491588. We aim to handle your complaint within a reasonable period.
10.Governing law
All agreements with the carrier are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where the carrier is established.
